It’s honestly infuriating to see Republicans constantly targeting Medicaid and food stamps when millions of people depend on them just to get by. Instead of cutting vital programs, Congress should be expanding them so everyone has the healthcare and food security they deserve. This whole “budget crisis” is always an excuse to squeeze working people while billionaires and corporations get off easy. I’m glad Democrats are fighting back, but we really need to push for a system that puts people over profits, not just defend what little we have left.
