Honestly, as a traditional conservative, I’m not sure this is the best idea

America has always prided itself on civilian leadership and a humble respect for our armed forces—not using them for personal celebrations. Military parades seem more like something you’d see in authoritarian countries, not the United States. I respect our troops immensely, but their service shouldn’t be turned into a political spectacle. We should focus on honoring our military with dignity, not flashy displays for one man’s birthday.
