Israeli military jets have conducted multiple airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs, targeting Hezbollah positions and missile sites.
These attacks mark the third time Israel has struck the area since a ceasefire was established in late November, raising fears that the fragile truce could collapse. The Israeli army issued evacuation warnings before the strikes, which specifically targeted a hangar and missile infrastructure. The escalation comes amid heightened tensions and concerns that renewed conflict could erupt between Israel and Hezbollah.
The situation is drawing international attention due to the risk of broader regional instability.

Yet another reason why we should stay out of other countries’ conflicts—getting involved just makes things worse for everyone.
It's heartbreaking to see more violence when what we really need is diplomacy and a genuine commitment to peace from all sides.

Once again we see Israel violating Lebanese sovereignty with impunity, using the excuse of “self-defense” to justify aggression. These constant airstrikes just show how little respect imperialist powers have for ceasefires or the lives of people in the region. If the international community actually cared about peace, they’d hold Israel accountable instead of giving them a blank check.
Israel has every right to defend itself from Hezbollah’s threats, especially when they’re stockpiling missiles right on the border—what else are they supposed to do?
