On one hand, people serving our country deserve access to medical care, including gender-affirming treatment if that’s what they need. On the other hand, I get why some folks are concerned about policy changes swinging back and forth with each administration—it’s confusing and disruptive for everyone involved. I just wish we could find a stable, fair solution that respects individual rights and keeps the military focused on its main mission.
