We can't keep assuming that just because the left is pushing unpopular policies, people will automatically vote Republican. If we don't start running stronger candidates and actually connecting with working-class voters on the ground, we're going to keep losing winnable races. The Democrats are out-hustling us in local elections, plain and simple. It's time for the party to stop playing it safe and actually stand for something again.
