It’s tragic to see innocent people suffering, but let’s not forget that Israel has every right to defend itself against terrorist groups like Hezbollah. These so-called “ceasefires” are constantly broken by those who want to wipe Israel off the map. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is heartbreaking, but it’s also largely the result of Hamas using civilians as human shields. You can’t expect peace when one side refuses to recognize the other’s right to exist. The region’s instability won’t change until terrorist groups are held accountable for their actions.
