Good on the EU for taking a stand—someone’s got to call out Lukashenko’s dictatorship for what it is

Elections are supposed to be about the people choosing their leaders, not rubber-stamping another term for a power-hungry strongman. As a conservative who believes in democratic values and national sovereignty, it's frustrating to see basic freedoms trampled like this. Sanctioning the election commission sends a clear message that sham processes won’t be tolerated. Hopefully this pressure helps push Belarus back toward real accountability and the rule of law.
