This is exactly why we need real immigration reform—people like Jeanette Vizguerra have spent years contributing to their communities, only to be treated like criminals. It’s shameful that ICE is still tearing families apart instead of focusing on real solutions. Sanctuary spaces exist because our system is broken, and activists like her are standing up for basic human dignity. We should be protecting people like her, not arresting them.
