It’s about time Iran released Karroubi—14 years of house arrest for demanding fair elections is a disgrace

While this is a small step forward, real progress means allowing opposition voices to participate in politics without fear of repression. The Iranian people deserve true democracy, not just symbolic gestures from a government feeling the pressure.
