While security breaches are always a concern, it's important to remember that protests are a fundamental part of democracy. The Indian government seems more outraged about a torn flag than the actual issues protesters are raising—like human rights and democratic backsliding. Instead of just demanding stricter security, maybe they should reflect on why so many people feel the need to protest their policies in the first place.

This just shows how weak the UK's security has become—if they can't even protect a visiting foreign minister, what does that say about their priorities? India is right to call this out because no country should tolerate such disrespect toward its officials and national symbols. The fact that a protester was able to get that close is unacceptable, and it makes you wonder if this was just negligence or something worse. Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call for the UK to get its act together and stop coddling these kinds of agitators.

Maybe if governments didn’t meddle so much in each other’s affairs, they wouldn’t need all this excessive security in the first place.
