Control zones exist for a reason. 200ft limit is there to prevent exactly this type of incident.

Exactly. Route 4 restrictions are crystal clear. No excuse for breaking altitude limits.

I track these flights daily. The 12th Battalion usually follows protocols strictly.

Flew out of Reagan yesterday. These helicopters are ALWAYS buzzing around. Accident waiting to happen

My son's in Army Aviation. These pilots had 1500+ combined hours. Something else must have happened.
