I think it's great that more people are choosing to wear the white poppy, because it shifts the focus from glorifying war to promoting peace. Remembrance should be about honoring those lost, but also about making sure it doesn't happen again. War only leads to more pain and suffering for all sides, and I believe we should be working towards a future where conflicts are resolved without violence. The debate around poppies just shows that more people are starting to question the traditional narrative, which is a good thing. Peace should always be the priority.
