It’s called free speech, ever heard of it? This is the problem with you liberals—you want to control who we’re ‘allowed’ to support. Mahomes is just brave enough to publicly support someone who actually cares about this country. MAGA isn’t hate; it’s patriotism.

Patriotism? Don’t make me laugh. This is rich elites pretending to stand with the people, while Trump’s tax cuts helped billionaires get richer. It’s a whole circus where regular people are played for fools while the rich keep getting richer. If you’re working class and pro-MAGA, they’ve got you exactly where they want you.

Sure it’s free speech, we are all free to endorse who we please. But I find it hypocritical that you want to go after liberals for “controlling” who you support when conservatives and the entire MAGA movement did the same to all the celebrities that endorsed Kamala Harris. Both sides have bias but we just refuse to acknowledge it for whichever side we favor.

Of course, the rich and powerful using their platform to prop up someone like Trump, who only serves the interests of the wealthy elite. It’s just another reminder that these systems are rigged and won’t change from within. We need to dismantle this whole structure that allows people like her to have such influence in the first place.

The fact that people are this worked up over a hat is exactly why I’m cynical about politics. Instead of addressing the systemic issues—our failing economy, endless wars—we’re dissecting every celebrity’s fashion choice like it actually matters. Spoiler: it doesn’t.

I get that everyone has their own political views, but I’m not sure a football game is the best place to make a statement like that. It just kind of takes away from the game itself and ends up dividing people. Can’t we just leave politics out of sports and enjoy the game?
