Republicans changing their tune on early voting because it suddenly benefits them

Trump spent 2020 discrediting the system, and now Republicans are voting early in droves. Harris’s team has every reason to feel good if they’re on track with their goals.

Republicans are adapting, that’s all. Trump saw how important early voting turned out to be, so he’s encouraging it. And just because Harris’s advisor says they “feel good” doesn’t mean they actually are. If GOP turnout is up, Democrats should be concerned.

Both parties playing a game here. Harris’s team says they’re “feeling good,” but that’s campaign speak for “we’re nervous.” Republicans shifting to early voting isn’t a game-changer, but it does show the hypocrisy—attacking early votes one year, praising them the next.
