It’s really disappointing to see this kind of corruption scandal hit the NYPD, especially when public trust in our institutions is so critical. Mayor Adams needs to step up and make sure whoever takes over as commissioner is committed to integrity and upholding the law. We need strong, transparent leadership that puts the good of the city and its people first. Hopefully, this shakeup leads to positive reforms and not just more of the same.
