This is exactly why we need stronger democratic institutions and more accountability for political leaders

If Trump really tried to subvert the will of the people, it’s a huge threat to the basic foundations of democracy. It’s not enough to just let these kinds of things slide because of party loyalty or political convenience. We need real consequences for undermining elections, or we’re just inviting more of the same in the future. This also highlights how important it is to have fair elections and transparency in the process. People deserve governments that actually work for them, not just for the elites trying to cling to power at any cost.
