It's unfortunate that things have escalated like this, but Israel has every right to defend itself from Hezbollah, which has been a constant threat along our northern border. Hezbollah hides among civilians and uses them as human shields, which makes it even harder for Israel to avoid civilian casualties during these operations. I feel for the innocent people caught in the middle, but let's not forget Hezbollah is also responsible for Lebanon's instability and suffering. Israel isn't interested in staying in Lebanon, but we can't just sit by while a terrorist group builds up its arsenal right next door. Hopefully, this will weaken Hezbollah enough to bring some long-term peace and stability to the region. It's a tough situation, but security has to come first.
