Honestly, it’s not surprising

The Republican symbol has become so tied to harmful policies and anti-democratic actions, people just don’t want to be associated with it or see it normalized. I get that the bar was trying to appeal to both sides, but the reality is the GOP has shifted so far right that it’s hard to see them as just “another party.” It’s good they listened to feedback, but maybe they should rethink trying to be neutral in a time when one side is actively attacking democracy. People want spaces that feel safe, not a place that equates both sides like nothing’s wrong.
