First off, I hope Mark Robinson has a speedy recovery after this accident

It’s tough to see someone get hurt, especially when they’re out there trying to connect with regular folks at events like the Mayberry Truck Show. Say what you want about his politics, but he’s clearly not afraid to get out there and speak directly to the people. That’s the kind of leadership we need—someone who doesn’t hide behind polished press conferences and actually shows up where everyday North Carolinians are. I just hope the media doesn’t use this unfortunate incident to distract from the real issues he’s been talking about, like standing up for working-class families. We need more straight-talkers like him in politics these days.
