Adams has always been more of a corporate Democrat, so it's not surprising to see him caught up in this kind of scandal. It's a reminder that we need real progressive candidates who aren't beholden to wealthy donors and special interests. If the Democratic Party doesn’t start moving away from these types of politicians, they’re going to keep losing people to more left-leaning alternatives. We need leaders who actually put working people first, not just pay lip service to it.
