Unfortunately for Kamala, Cornel West admitted, publicly, in a live interview on the Status Coup News podcast that Kamala Harris attempted to bribe him to bow out of the race. She offered to pay off his entire campaign debt and a cushy, high paid job in her cabinet--in return for his dropping out.

Unfortunately for her, this is a serious felony, per 2041. Bribery of Public Officials, which says,

"Section 201 of Title 18 is entitled "Bribery of public officials and witnesses." The statute comprises two distinct offenses, however, and in common parlance only the first of these is true "bribery."
