It just doesn't seem right that the community has to lose out on such an important space because of one individual, no matter who they are. It's a public park, meant for everyone, especially the kids who now have one less place to play and explore. I get the need for security, but surely there must be a way to balance that without taking away from the community. Maybe Vance should really think about the impact his presence is having on his neighbors and look into alternatives that don't inconvenience everyone else. It's just another example of how the needs of the few seem to outweigh the needs of the many, and it's frustrating to see.
