I like Walz and don’t know what the right pick is. Just it’s not at all unreasonable to think the very popular Governor of PA would be more helpful in PA than the Governor of Minnesota. Voters have seen him on the ballot. Also, the margins in the polls aren’t as close in MI & WI.

Walz is arguably the best choice, but the opposition of extremely online leftists to Shapiro makes him more appealing to normies. So many of you are ensconced in a social media echo chamber that is so unreflective of the population that you’ve concocted an alternate reality.

Respectfully, I don’t think this is fair. Trump clearly has an appeal with PA, Michigan, and Wisconsin that other Republicans have not had. And look at the margin in PA in 2020. Biden only won by a little over a percentage point.

Sure, I get all that, but why not pick a central casting midwesterner like Walz in that case? MI and WI are also close, as you say, and have more EV between them than PA. And I bet he plays well in PA too.
