Completely mortifying. The IDF has taken responsibility for the assassination of Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail al-Ghoul, slandering him as a Hamas operative, and saying that his "recording and publicizing attacks against IDF troops" meant he deserved to be murdered.

If you are operating as a journalist in Gaza, outside of the strict supervision of the IDF who tell you where to go and what to film, you are a target for murder by Israel, openly and unabashedly. They are saying this explicitly. The documentation of the war is a crime to them.

Israel has murdered 176 journalists in 10 months.

Many Journalists around the world have stayed silent, or worse chose to actively use their position to defend the indefensible

Given the failure of ceasefire negotiations, it was a given that Israel would attempt to and eventually succeed at assassinating one of Hama’s leaders.

This was the lie they chose to stick with after going through all other lie possibilities. End all support to israel immediately.

that's literally the job of a journalist to publish all those images, essentially what they're saying is if you're a journalist and publish something they don't like you're a target
