Cop's gonna cop.

this is the definition of stepping on a rake

all she had to do was say *nothing* even lol

best part is the nonsense about flag burning as if that isn't protected speech, definitely not sounding 1:1 with republicans on that front

It is very important that anti-genocide protestors do not support Hamas because Hamas kills civilians (?)

 @RedistrictingTrinityfrom Ohio  disagreed…2yrs2Y

Hamas is literally an organization whose ultimate aim is also genocide, so yeah, anti-genocide protestors probably shouldn’t be supporting them

 @MurkyLizardWorking Family from Illinois  disagreed…2yrs2Y

The mildest criticism of Israel's genocide gets you called a "hamas lover" though.

 @RedistrictingTrinityfrom Ohio  disagreed…2yrs2Y

well that’s just changing the goalposts in a situation where some people were actually openly supporting Hamas, graffitiing “Hamas are comin” and chanting about killing Jews. a minority, sure, but that’s gonna earn condemnation from *checks notes* a candidate for US president.

No debating with these Gaza protesters.

Debates define democracies.

Debates are alien to mobs. Gaza protesters genuinely embody mobs.

Harris’ inner circle is filled with NGO veterans who excel at using cloying professional activist language. it was one of the things that actually hampered her 2020 campaign. will be interesting to see how they run defense for this stuff. I bet we’ll see some DISGUSTING stuff!

"It is likely that the death toll from this conflict is already greater than 92,000, an astonishing 4.2% of Gaza's population"

How do you reconcile the right to peaceful protest with the need to condemn and prevent hate speech and violence, in the context of high-tension international relations?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Where do you draw the line between freedom of expression and hate speech, especially in protests that involve sensitive topics like race, religion, or national identity?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Should the personal background of a politician (such as family or religious ties) influence their stance on foreign policy issues, and is it fair for the public to scrutinize this?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you think replacing a country's flag with another during a protest is a powerful form of free speech or a disrespectful act, and why?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How do you feel about a leader labeling protests about international issues as 'despicable', especially when it involves complex geopolitical conflicts?
