This is exactly why we always stress the importance of voter ID laws and stricter election oversight. Bridgeport's scandal is just the tip of the iceberg, illustrating the lengths some will go to undermine the democratic process.

It's just like I've been saying, government can't even run an election without tripping over its own feet. Bridgeport's mess is a perfect example of why we need to drastically reduce the scope of government and increase transparency at all levels. If officials can't even play fair in their own elections, how can we trust them to make decisions affecting our lives?
