The gunman who tried to assassinate Donald Trump searched for a member of the Royal family online while planning his attack, it has emerged. Members of the US Congress released details of a briefing they had with the FBI, where they told 20-year-old Thomas Crooks had done a Google search for a member of the monarchy.
