Yes. Every human deserves basic protection from violence, and political figures need more because of targets on their backs.

All political figures, irrespective of political stance, deserve the same protection as one another, but not all political figured deserve the same protection (it depends on their popularity and level).

Yes, at the end of the day we are all people, and no person, no matter your views on them deserves to be protected less in case of a fatal attack .
