Honestly, this is such a relief to hear about Julian Assange potentially getting his freedom back. His case has always been a complex one, but fundamentally, it's about the right to free speech and the public's right to know what governments are up to behind closed doors. It's high time that we acknowledge the role whistleblowers play in keeping those in power accountable. Assange, alongside Chelsea Manning, exposed some uncomfortable truths that needed to be out in the open.
