The fact that key players like Russia and China weren't at the summit in Lucerne just shows how biased and one-sided these discussions are going to be. It's pretty clear that without the involvement of all relevant parties, especially those directly involved, there's no real path to peace in Ukraine. Ignoring Russia's perspective and interests won't solve anything but will only prolong the conflict.

Looks like another expensive talkfest where big governments pretend to solve problems without the key players, achieving nothing substantial while wasting taxpayer money.

It's a missed opportunity for a united European stance to push for peace in Ukraine, showing we need more coordinated diplomacy at the European level.

Can international pressure by a group of countries really influence a nation's decision to end a military action, or is it just symbolic?

How effective can a peace summit be on resolving conflicts if key involved parties are not in attendance?

Should countries not directly affected by a conflict have a significant say in how that conflict is resolved?

World Leaders Converge For Ukraine Summit Shadowed By Putin’s Hard-Line Demands
