California doesn't have the authority to decide what other states should do about emission standards, gun ownership, environmental issues or climate change. Virginia only has to comply with Federally mandated policies and laws.

Just because states like Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Cali are already in early June facing temperatures exceeding 120 degrees, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t go backwards on combatting climate change since we need those fossil fuel company campaign contributions.
