Military spending doesn't come compare to healthcare spending - so that's not how the country works

Total national health expenditures reached $3.8 trillion in 2019, defense spending was only 731 billion. So, healthcare spending is over 5x defense spending. So even if you cut out ALL defense spending, which is not really possible, you wouldn't have the 'free' stuff you want.
