Seeing the flags at half-staff really drives home the enormity of what we're commemorating on Memorial Day

It's a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by so many in the service of our country, and I think it's crucial we all take a moment to reflect on that. Beyond just remembering, this should also push us to think about how we support our veterans and active military personnel today. Ensuring they have access to quality healthcare, education, and job opportunities should be a priority. It's the least we can do to honor their service and the memory of those we've lost.
