Banning the promotion of unhealthy products would likely not have much impact on current unhealthy products, given how prominent many of them are. Future bans on such advertising for unhealthy products to young people likely won’t stop said people from hearing about and potentially obtaining said products given how prominent product advertisements are nowadays

The government should support the promotion of products that contribute to healthy lifestyles for all people.

No, but increase awareness of vaping or junk food health issues. Or, more honestly, create a cultural stigma around such things in the same in which cigarettes are viewed today.

No, the government should not interfere with private company advertising but should give incentives for items that better meet the health goals set for our country

No, we should not be banning anything simply because some people don't agree with them. However, I do believe that the marketing and advertising industry has become too powerful as a driving force in every aspect of our personal lives. It would be better to eliminate advertising all together.

No, but raise minimum buying age to 25 (that is when brain is fully developed) and require ID verification of age and identity.

Yes and no we should do it with incentives and crack down on corporate corruption not make them in trouble and switch it. Just define on subsides and trash food for kids

Limit any form of drug use but junk food is a type of food. only bad ingredients should be regulated

 @YellowCat  from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

No, but products that contribute to unhealthy lifestyles should have required disclosures similar to that of tobacco products.

 @isaaccclark98Socialist from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

No, but it should require heavier warnings and education on the subject to better inform and regulate these products for customers, like with cigarettes and alcohol.

 @97PVFL4Libertarian  from Wisconsin  answered…1yr1Y

Although the promotion of such products is too extensive, the government should not step in to prevent such promotions

 @9RWS756Libertarian from Illinois  answered…1yr1Y

Yes and no. Vaping is harmful and is proven to cause cancer and other issues, while junk food is simply cheaper food that may be less nutritional but cannot do harm in small quantities

  @ShortTimeNoSeeLibertarian  from California  answered…1yr1Y

No, individuals should be free to make their own choices, with an emphasis on education and transparency to inform those decisions.

 @9WCW9KPLibertarian from Arkansas  answered…12mos12MO

No, but make it so that the dangers of these products are highlighted to consumers before the purchase

 @9RMQX45 from Pennsylvania  answered…1yr1Y

No, vaping is infinitely better than a forty-year smoking habit. Vaping isn't remotely the same as smoking.

 @5BMX4XTLibertarian answered…1yr1Y

No but companies should state the personal penalties of use. IE. Vaping can result in Death & destruction of your health.

No, corporations have the right to compete in the market with whatever product they want, as long as it abides by the constitution and follows FDA laws.
