Unfortunately it looks like Russia is going to win this war, which means we have to win the peace

Ukraine will have to give up at least some of it's land, but in exchange, the West will have to guarantee the rest - not with its usual empty promises, but with soldiers from across all of NATO, on Ukraine's eastern borders. This is the only way to guarantee that Ukraine will ever be a free democracy within NATO.
