Should the tragedy of these surfers influence how we view and approach international travel and adventure sports?

It all had to do with gun control. The surfers were having fun doing something they loved and they were killed because of how easily it was to do so. No one would be able to swim out there and stab them unsuspectingly. But a gun can do just that.

It's important to recognize that such incidents are rare, they do remind us of the potential risks involved in international travel and adventure activities.
