Remember the Fed has flooded the US Financial system with liquidity

There is close to $4 trillion in excess cash as compared to before 2008 when it was always near $0. Therefore, P:E ratios are heightened due to the excess cash, too many dollars chasing too few goods, in short asset inflation.
