People need to be safe in schools. Hate crimes and gun violence make a place that is supposed to be educational and safe become a dangerous place.

Saftey of students is really important and we have to figure out how to stop the slaughtering of students and the violence words and actions aginst them. Everyone has the right to live to be happy and to be themselves.

Address school safety by allowing – or requiring – teachers to be armed. Address alleged "hate crimes" by telling kids to suck it up and become stronger.

I believe that discrimination in schools is on the rise and there must be more protections for students, both socially, mentally, and also from gun violence.

A kid was murdered and the murderers got a short suspension and that's it.

They should address them strictly. Schools should be places that are always safe, and hate crimes should never be looked past. I feel like if you are found guilty of committing a hate crime or violating school safety protocols you should be punished. Stricter laws could be good if handled well.

I feel like nothing is being done and everything is getting worse every day. It needs to be paid attention to and fixed.

My opinion is I truly believe states should address school safety and hate crimes because it just raises fear and concern in society and that is not okay when it has to come to "living in fear".

I think they should be telling people about the schools and stuff because people or kids need to know about it
