Protesting is not a waste of time and some things may come out of it depending on the person's persistence and determination.

I think most of the time, protesting things doesn't usually change anything because arrogant people ignore protesters.

We have the freedom of speech. So when the government or senate is doing something that needs to change we should be able to take awareness and show action in our opinion.
