Most leftists don’t, most of the DEI initiatives of democrats is to try and virtue signal to the leftist side of the U.S., and it fails miserably at every turn, because they care about looking like they’re doing some rather than actually doing something.

If most leftists don't, why does virtually every major corporation in existence in this country buy into this BS? Amazon, Google (For Heaven's sake, you can't get an image of a white person on their new AI, Gemini, that they launched yesterday!) Disney, Bud Light, Ford, the list goes ON AND ON AND ON. Not to mention that for DECADES pretty much every major college in this country instituted racist policies designed to overlook whites! Not to mention that businesses EVERYWHERE constantly turn down white applicants, who are MORE qualified 99% of the time for the job, in favor of "minority" groups who are normally LESS qualified, because they refuse to higher based on anything but skin color, sex, and mental health conditions like transgenderism, etc.

Because it does sell in different ways and because it creates this kind of reaction. Social discourse is a good money maker, so much so that playing both sides and watching the fiery games actually benefits them dramatically, though companies like Disney actually do just make the poor economic decisions because the consequences might be worse if they don’t, since people would view Disney as abandoning its position of seemingly caring.

It's a horrible money maker. Bud Light, Disney, and Target suffered horrific losses at the hands of conservatives, who have more power than you leftists want to imagine. Woke killed them. And we should laugh hysterically in their faces for it – I have zero sympathy for amy corporation that engages in such amoral behavior.

Well… the profits tend to say otherwise, Bud Life’s doing mostly fine, and just used it as an opportunity to shift to a more reliable target audience, since, despite progressives and social leftists knowing they don’t care much about that stuff, progressives will gladly take any sense of support they can get. Sorta the “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” type of logic, despite being fully aware those companies don’t actually care.
