I believe people have the right to speak whatever language they are comfortable speaking, it's not right to force people to do things they aren't comfortable with.

We don’t HAVE an official language. English is just the most common. Our nation is built from others, our identity, our culture it IS other cultures, and rejecting others is cherry-picking who we do and don’t want in a country already made of immigrants and stolen by colonizers. We can’t fix the past, but it’s our responsibility to the future to stop acting like our culture is somehow unique, rather than being a blend of the Old World.
