I do believe that individual acts such as recycling or composting food has an impact on the environment as does throwing trash on the ground and not recycling. But it is also important for the government and corporate levels of government to also be making changes to less impact the environment as well.

I feel like it depends on where you are and who you are around to show the impact

Individual actions barely if at all effect the environment, the largest issues come from gov. and corporate levels.

Yes I believe that if personal habits and social habits change we can dramatically reduce our impact on the environment. Stop letting your cars pointlessly idle for no reason. Prioritize our environment over your individual comfort( to an extent). The government can influence people to change their habits with laws, advertising, funding ...etc.

Governments, Corporations, and Billionaires stand for over 90% percent of the worlds emissions. We the People can't do nothing to save the environment when they aren't controlled.

This ultimately boils down to conviction. I don't doubt Greta's conviction about the environment. I doubt her motives in targeting the US when there are significantly worse offenders in the world. If folks feel compelled to make global conscious decisions through composting, EV purchasing, recycling, renewables, etc; then maybe there can be a program to incentivise them or cut them tax deductions. Forcing a nation to bend the knee go without natural gas (which produces less waste than EV's by an absurd margin) for the greater good, is not only irresponsibily tyrranical but its foolish.

No because not everyone is going to do their part with regards to the environment so your efforts will just be countered

I feel like the people are controlled by the government into making these decisions, so we are all brainwash, so i don't know.
