I believe that individuals have an impact on the environment, people who use transportation using cars and gas, it hurts the environment because of the pollution. But there should be some changes at a corporate level for people to take it more seriously.

 @9HCH7XMPeace and Freedom from Arizona  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe either of those. Every action that an individual takes is a step closer to destroying the environment, but more important changes should also be made at a governmental level.

 @9HCCQRKPeace and Freedom from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

I think there will be most impact if it were change on a corporate level. Companies I feel are the main cause to environmental problems, then it’s singular actions and what people do on the daily basis.

Individual actions help out of we all contribute. I think we should all work together to make a great space and environment.

Many people believe that both individual actions and larger-scale changes are necessary to address environmental issues.

 @9H9VS3WPeace and Freedomanswered…2yrs2Y

Individual actions can make an impact but only to a certain extent, however as a community and society we have a bigger impact that hurts the environment.

I think more changes need to be made at corporate and government levels because those are the ones with larger impacts. Individually, we can help by "going green", but it would make more of a difference if the government did.

 @9HBPHYWPeace and Freedom from Nevada  answered…2yrs2Y

Everyones actions are equally important. The government needs to stop funding these businesses that are hurting our environment just as much as the common person needs to stop throwing their trash wherever they please.

 @9H9RTWPPeace and Freedomanswered…2yrs2Y

Although individual changes will help the environment, there are millions of people so just on person changing will not help. It is more important for changes to be made at a governmental or corporate level.

In my opinion, tackling environmental issues requires both individual acts and reforms at the corporate or governmental level.
Individual Activities: When taken as a whole, individual acts like recycling, cutting back on waste, conserving energy, and selecting sustainable products can make a significant difference. The amount of pollution and resource consumption that results from a large number of people making environmentally friendly decisions can be significantly reduced. A culture of environmental responsibility can be established, and others influenced by an individual's personal…  Read more

I do not believe that individual action can have a significant impact on the environment, but what could make a significant impact change would be that the government should be involved in the actions we need to take, to make it more affective.

 @9T24FFFPeace and Freedom from Washington  answered…9mos9MO

I do believe that a person's actions can have a major effect on the environment, it is better to approach a situation with a level head and controlled emotions. I still think the government and corporate can establish a few new rules when i comes to the topic of "Environmentalism".

Both individual actions and changes by governments or companies are important for helping the environment. For individual actions, people make eco-friendly choices, like recycling or using less energy, it can add up. If lots of people do it, the impact becomes bigger. Plus, individuals can influence others and push for more significant changes. For Government and corporate actions, the big changes often need action from governments and companies because they have the power to make large-scale impacts, like creating laws to reduce pollution or making products more sustainable.

 @9SHNMN2Peace and Freedom from Virginia  answered…9mos9MO

if the government softly inforce some rules then i feel like over time people will start to respect the environment more

indviduals actions can have a effect but it is highly important for changes to be made at a governmental level.

 @9PZK6Q8Peace and Freedom from Michigan  answered…11mos11MO

Individual actions play a crucial role in environmentalism. Small changes in daily habits, like reducing waste or conserving energy, collectively make a significant impact. While systemic changes from governments and corporations are essential, individual efforts inspire broader change and foster a culture of sustainability.

 @9H9TFYPPeace and Freedom from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

I think it's more important for changes to be made at a governmental or corporate level because everything is not easy in life and everything happens for a reason.

 @9HBTL3DPeace and Freedom from Colorado  answered…2yrs2Y

i think some corporate levels can affect individuals. Like if a store sells plastic bags many people might be persuaded to buy the plastic bags but i think individual actions would be more benificial
