Do you think it's important for a country to prioritize its own citizens' wellbeing over global cooperation, and why?
We need to prioritize well-being based on urgency of need, rather than proximity; because borders are just lines on a map, and human lives are of equal worth, wherever they live.

I think that the citizens matter just as much as the government and should be taken into account when dealing with global cooperation. The one exception will be if it is an emergency that seriously threatens the well-being of America's people and the whole of its existence.
