Should the government raise the federal minimum wage?
Every hour worked is a potential talent not fostered, time not spent with a loved one, personal project untouched, or some other enrichment denied. An argument might be made that not everyone given complete freedom would spend their time in the "best" manner, but that is not for others to decide. Ensuring a person is compensated enough to live the remainder of their life commiserate with what you have taken is the cornerstone of "life liberty and happiness."
