Well, that's one way to put it, but let's consider this: being transgender isn't about 'mental' issues, it's about identity. Ever heard of the World Health Organization? They stopped classifying being transgender as a mental disorder years ago. Why? Because it's not a mental illness, it's about self-identification and self-expression.
