No, we do not have the energy infrastructure to allow for electric vehicles on a mass scale of any sort.

The gubmint should mandate REMOVABLE batteries be designed for all electric vehicles. We already have a successful working model for small electric vehicles.

No, electric vehicles are worse for the environment due to their manufacturing process. We should instead move away from these models or reform the manufacturing process.

We must employ all available solutions, including better public mass-transit and chargers for electric vehicles

 @9FR4J38 from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, it is actually unsustainable if every vehicle were to switch to electric. We will never have the literal ability to create enough electricity to power, let alone house, enough electricity to power every vehicle. Plus, the components required to make the current versions of batteries require the mining of rare earth elements that is very non-enviromentally friendly.

No but they should invest in renewable energy sources and make them available to private companies as an incentive for broadening the existing network.

No, it is the equivalent of building a network of gas stations . Leave the market alone.

 @9C975CL from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

No, competition in the private market will result in a market equilibrium level of charging stations

Only if they use renewable energy, but we should focus more on improving public transportation.
