I believe that abortion should not be an option because it has ruined many girls' lives due to being pressured or being unsure and then regretting that decision later. I believe though that it should be allowed when the birth would kill the mother and the baby so why go through with it because the baby would die either way, whereas you could at least save the mother.

The fact that some women might regret their decision to have an abortion later on doesn’t mean it “shouldn’t be an option”. We shouldn’t take away a freedom just because someone might later regret their decision to use that freedom. By your logic, we should ban tattoos, too. People regret getting tattoos all the time.
