I think those who come to the US with the hopes of a better future and right intentions, those who pay their taxes, and have resided in the US for the last 10 years should be able to vote

 @9SWS6PJ from Texas  answered…10mos10MO

Yes if they have filed 5 years of tax returns, with tax qualified income. Anyone who pays taxes should have the right to influence how their taxes are used.

 @9L576WNRepublican from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Foreigners in the US should only be allowed to vote if they are in the US on legal terms (visa, green card, etc.)

 @9L2Y245 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Yes but they must live in the country for a certain time and only allowed to vote on certain elections.

 @9L2KNT6 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, if a foreigner has its citizenship and that foreigner is now a American Citizen. They have a right to vote, because as a American Citizen that is their individual right.

 @9KCKWZ6 from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

This is an ambiguious question. If they are residing here temporarily, like for school with no intention of staying within the US for a longer period of time, no. However, if they are to be long term residents who pay taxes and benefit from the US government as 'citizens', yes, because what happens here affects them and they should be able to voice their concerns.

 @9HVP8SH from Texas  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but only after living in one region for 5 years, then only in local elections (unless they get citizenship).

 @9H88N63Peace and Freedom from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only after becoming a legal citizen and/or living in the country for at least 5 years with plans to stay.

Yes, as long as they are planning to stay in the country for the majority of the president's term.

 @967BHRX from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

If they have permit or somewhat permit place then yes they should be able to vote

 @95ZR9MX from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

I feel that they should only be able to vote once they become a fully legal citizen, but on that note, it should not be a huge headache to be able to become one.

 @925JKHD from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8ZJW8RS from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, if they pay taxes and have gone through the steps to become a citizen

 @8YDQC99 from Texas  answered…3yrs3Y

No, only natural-born citizens or legal permanent residents who have lived in the country for seven years & six months can vote.

 @8XZP4QC from Texas  answered…4yrs4Y

No because they are foreigners what if they came to vote for somebody who will ruin America what if that's their goal because they are not American citizens.

 @8N2NF88 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8M2WSL4 from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, if they're here legally. Anyone here legally that pays taxes should have a right to vote.

 @8L4K75L from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Once a citizen, you have the rights as a citizen. Not a citizen, not eligible to vote.

some foreigners can vote on US elections if they pass strict and few US and Foreigners questionnaire requirements except for some foreigners that have their own specialist.

 @8NZ3S6D from Texas  answered…5yrs5Y

Become a legal citizen the proper way and live in the country for the proper amount of years and you shall be able to.

 @9FLWF6K from Texas  answered…2yrs2Y

Only legal citizens should vote, but that leads to the problem of regulating immigration and making it difficult for refugees to settle.
