Yes, but they should only be able to vote after submitting an American tax record equal to the same length of time as their naturalization process.

 @9FQ2TG7Republican from California  answered…2yrs2Y

If they have their american citizenship then they should be allowed to vote.

 @9FGQZ98 from California  answered…2yrs2Y

No, only legal citizens should be allowed to vote. And while we're at it, all citizens should have to pass the citizenship test to register to vote.

If a. person is of legal age and. has been living in a state for. a minimum. number of. years (less than. 4), s/he/they. should be allowed to vote in. all local, county and state elections. If they are. employees who pay taxes (some proof would be required). even. if not citizens, once they have. been there 4. years, they should be able. to vote. in federal elections. This. would. mean no one would be disallowed. to vote. for more than one federal. election cycle; being able to. vote for president, VP, senators, etc. increases. commitment to the country and will be a stabilizing. factor. since. people. will feel more represented. by. their government.

I think that if you get a visa or American citizenship or if you are in America for 1-2 years then you should get the right to vote.

 @8ZVJ496 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only after they become or if they are currently in the process of becoming a citizen

 @8ZCZS6Y from California  answered…3yrs3Y

I feel like foreigners should be able to vote if they have lived in the country for a certain amount of years as well as pay taxes, they should only show positive growth in the country though, like helping the country grow economically.

If they are approved american citizens or have lived at least 18 years in america then yes

 @8JXLRGDRepublican from California  answered…5yrs5Y

I would say mostly yes, but they do have very different opinions because they do not know the system as well as people who have lived in the U.S. for a long time, so they should take a few years to settle down and learn about how our presidents are elected and what they truly want to be accomplished.

Yes, if the people live here and pay taxes and the outcome of the election might affect them then they should have the right to vote. It is unfair when people cannot speak for themselves simply because they are refused the right to vote
